A tattoo artist needs a lot more than some ink and a needle in order to operate a successful business. Tables, chairs, art supplies, and tattoo guns, not to mention all of the necessary health and medical equipment are all required tattoo supplies for today's tattoo shops. Fortunately, all of these items can be found easily through any number of vendors.

With today's stringent health laws, certain pieces of medical equipment have become an important part of any list of tattoo supplies. Ultrasonic cleaners and autoclaves are standard in most reputable tattoo parlors nowadays. The ultrasonic cleaners are used to break-up any ink pigments that might still be on the components of the tattoo machine, while the autoclave is used to sterilize this equipment once it has been sufficiently cleaned.

Believe it or not, furniture is also an important part of any list of tattoo supplies. Quality tattoo chairs, stools, and other furniture is not only much more comfortable for the customer, but it also presents an image of professionalism. Unfortunately, buying quality furniture is not usually an inexpensive proposition, and as such requires a fairly substantial investment by the shop owner.
